Youth
ACTS Students is a time where students gather together to understand the Bible, see what it says about their current situations, and encourage their friends to walk in the light of truth.
Bible Discovery Groups can take a variety of forms. At its core, it is a small group gathered to experience Jesus by reading God's Word, obeying whatever it says, and sharing that truth with others.
At Faith, we emphasize fluidity in ministry. Going to church should never be boring or stale; churches and church members should never be stagnant.
This means that some quarters are geared towards teaching the fundamental truths of God's Word. This would look like a group of people gathered around a purposeful lesson plan, taught by a prepared teacher. The end result is that men and women become better able to understand the Bible and become better students of the Bible.
Other quarters, it is geared towards gathering around the Bible where the Holy Spirit is trusted as leader, teacher, and enabler. The meeting is guided by a series of simple questions that accomplish the disciple-making dynamics of community care, accountability, truth discovery, obedience, and outreach. The end result is that men and women become followers of Jesus who lead others to follow Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
