Welcome to ACTS Youth at Faith Baptist. Just as important as building a Biblical foundation in the life of a child, we must seek to build a Biblical culture for the life of our teens. This means creating a safe, welcoming environment for student-age teens to learn what it means to have a relationship with Christ. The teenage years are some of the most formative years in a person's life. XXXX Students is committed to fostering an environment that conveys the reality of the gospel and the centrality of transformation. Our hope is that teens wouldn't want to leave when they graduate but they would be ready to take the next steps in their walk with Christ.
Timothy Loveless guides our youth on Sunday mornings through a time of Bible Discovery. This is a time where focus is placed on allowing the Word of God to teach, the Spirit of God to speak, and the people of God to encourage. Each Sunday, they dive into a specific section of Scripture to see what God has said to His people and how it applies to their life. This is followed up by a time of sharing how they are going to implement what they have learned.
Wednesday Nights are the best night of the week! They are designed to be welcoming and fun with a combination of fun activities and focused Bible teaching. Every Wednesday night, the Bible is taught on topics relevant to students. We want students to be exposed to who Jesus is and what He has done for them. More importantly, we want them to learn to love Jesus in a way that will set the stage for mature, Christian living through adulthood.
